Start a high‑impact career at ICRI Global

Do you want to apply your skills and judgment in a mission‑driven organisation working on Indigenous data sovereignty, Traditional Ecological Knowledge, and biodiversity governance? At ICRI Global, you can help build the systems that communities and partners need for climate resilience and equitable benefit‑sharing.

Our team

ICRI Global gives me a space to use my skills in ways that actually matter for communities. The learning curve is steep, but you see your work translate directly into systems, partnerships, and opportunities for Indigenous and local partners.

Culture

At ICRI Global, we value judgment, reliability, initiative, and a low‑ego, high‑standards way of working. We are a Swiss‑registered nonprofit association working with Indigenous Peoples and local communities to strengthen knowledge governance, youth capacity, and community‑led climate resilience.

  • Professional, quietly ambitious environment with room for learning and experimentation.

  • Small, distributed team; we work across time zones and cultures, close to policy and community processes.

  • Light hierarchy: we use first names and care more about the strength of an idea than who suggested it.

  • Diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging

ICRI Global is committed to building an inclusive organisation that reflects the communities and regions we work with. We especially welcome applications from candidates based in biodiversity‑rich and Global South regions, and from Indigenous and local community backgrounds.
